Claire Magras
Claire has much versatile office management and business administration experience across a number of international NGOs. Over the years, she has gained a lot of expertise in membership and international relations, communications and social media as well as advising on NGO governance.

She has worked on organising various sporting events and conferences, including the Paralympic Games in London, Sochi and Rio. In addition to her native French, she also speaks English, Spanish and a little German.
Current work
As Administrator and Events Officer, Claire supports CSHR in the areas of office management, governance and logistics. She is also co-ordinating events activities, particularly the Centre's banner event, the Sporting Chance Forum.
Previous experience
Claire studied Languages and International Business in France, Spain and the Netherlands. She first worked as a Trade Certification Analyst and Auditor for the Fairtrade certification body FLO-Cert in Bonn, Germany. She joined the International Paralympic Committee as Communications and Marketing Assistant before becoming the Membership Manager and serving as the main contact at the IPC for National Paralympic Committees and International Sports Federations. She carried out similar activities at the Asian Paralympic Committee prior to joining the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh where she managed events, membership and communications for the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care.
